Global Communications directs internal and external communications efforts to ensure the company is positioned as a purpose-driven, modern and innovative provider of Financial Wellness solutions.  Ultimately, we want more Americans to understand the work Prudential does. This senior Communications practitioner will focus on devising and executing cross-business communications programs that engage Prudential Associates in the company’s U.S. business strategy and growth initiatives, and our journey to become America’s leading financial wellness company.
 
Responsibilities include: 
Provide counsel and support to C-level executives.
Develop and execute a U.S.-wide employee communications strategy designed to build employee pride, confidence and engagement in the current trajectory and future evolution of the U.S. business.
Oversee all enterprise-level employee engagement communications activities and initiatives in the U.S., including management of evolving content and channel strategies and storytelling techniques.
Partnering with stakeholders across the U.S., including Communicators embedded in the U.S. business units, the Content & Platforms team that manages Prudential wide communications channels, the affiliate groups, as well as Corporate Communications, Human Resources, Legal, Compliance and Business Ethics, and the CSR team.
Drive a strong focus on measuring the impact and effectiveness of internal communications efforts to inform communications practices and improve employee engagement efforts.

Qualifications
 
BS/BA from an accredited college/university in any field of academic rigor; Master’s degree a plus.
Minimum 12 years of experience in business communications or public relations; Corporate and Agency experience is a plus.
Thorough understanding of editorial, political, business and media cycles, as well as business and enterprise needs and priorities.
Well-rounded storytelling abilities from storyline development to traditional & digital distribution.
Crisp, incisive writer with ability to adapt to multiple formats.
Demonstrated ability in influencing others and working collaboratively to produce results across multiple functional teams.
Proven project campaign management skills.
Ability to work fast and think slow, reacting to timely updates and events without losing sight of advancing broader, strategic initiatives.
Track record of leading through partnering and influencing in addition to reporting line authority.
