Warehouse Inventory Manager

The Inventory Manager is responsible for all Inventory Control Processes for the Food Distribution Center, ensuring that accurate product inventory is maintained in support of Park Operations.
Oversee all Inventory control processes
Ensure accurate product inventory is maintained year round
Communicate with Warehouse Management about current stock and potential issues with orders
Conduct daily analyses to forecast potential inventory issues
Proactively research inventory inaccuracies CCV and partner with related group- daily to communicate & report on inventory discrepancies/ variances
Assess new inventory to ensure items and work with Sourcing to make sure pack size info aligns with warehouse standards
Propose pack size changes to current inventory to aid in the effort to improve inventory accuracy from mis-picks related to pack size and stocking unit inconsistencies
Effectively monitors flow of goods throughout supply chain and implements First-In First-Out (FIFO) methods to ensure all aging stock is rotated so as to reduce/eliminate spoilage
Coordinate and Lead warehouse operations and Inventory control team members in semi-annual Wall-to-Wall physical inventory
Identify Slow Moving and Obsolete items in an effort to optimize warehouse space and also increase inventory turnover
Develop and assist senior management to implement robust inventory control procedures and best practices to ensure accurate inventory
Oversee Warehouse operations in support/absence of the Warehouse Manager.
5+ years’ experience in inventory, distribution and operational procedures
2+ years supervisory experience required; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Must be available to work on weekends, holidays, and nights as required
Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and walking/traveling to multiple venues throughout the day
In-depth understanding of distribution and warehousing functional processes
Inventory cycle counting training & experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance or related field
A strong passion for delivering the highest quality of guest service
Ability to achieve results through the flawless execution of strategies and objectives
Strong communication, organizational, planning, delegation, mentoring and coaching skills
Excellent written and oral English communication skills to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
Experience managing in a union environment
Able to multi-task and work independently
Ability to manage effectively under deadlines
Working Knowledge of Windows (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), & Warehouse Management System (such as Eatec and Robocom)
Forklift Experience a plus
