Position Summary:The Department of Forest and Wildlife Ecology is hiring one technician to assist a MS student with small mammal trapping in northern Wisconsin from January through the beginning of February. Trapping will be conducted as a 2-person crew. Duties include, but are not limited to, setting and checking Sherman traps, measuring, ear-tagging, and bleeding small mammals, measuring snow depth and density, data collection and entry, and physical labor in deep snow. Housing is provided.
