What You'll Do
You’re deeply motivated Engineer  as well as personally working to reach innovative solutions to business problems.  You will interact with customers, account teams to understand the customer problem and design a solution. You're super thrilled to be the one responsible for power-on and bringing life to the most advanced networking system in the world. You would not hesitate to roll-up sleeves and probe hardware in the lab when required.
You’ll drive a collaborative process with partners and fellow architects to collect business and technical requirements to then fully articulate the solutions architecture of the platform
Identify, deliver, and document the required artifacts to make the new capabilities generally available, including strategy collateral, roadmaps, position statements, policies, standards, concepts, and logical specifications
After the initial architecture phase, the architect would actively continue monitoring and consulting throughout the execution phases, including design, engineering, implementation, and operations, feeding implementation and operational challenges back into architectural opportunities
Influence strategic decision makers, engage with a broad set of partners and domain experts across multiple disciplines, establish relationships, and communicate strategy, architecture and technology to the broader internal community
Wireless background is required, specifically knowledge of LTE, 5G, Wi-Fi. Knowledge of interfaces between networking elements like S1 is desired.
In-depth experience in designing networking systems with RLC, MAC, PDCP layers of LTE stack
Responsibilities:
Participate on a project team of engineers involved in the development of software for our next generation eNB and Private LTE solution. Define, architect, design, and deliver new software and features for Private LTE.  Day to day activities will involve building new features, understanding features in a competitive product and proposing solutions that work for our platform, writing functional and design specifications, programming, unit and integration testing your code, helping review specifications and code for other software engineers in the team, helping documentation team with the configuration aspects of your feature.

Who You Are
Minimum Qualifications
7+ years of experience with BS/MS in computer systems, software and architecture.
Expertise in LTE, 802.11 a, b/g, n protocols
Understanding of LAN/WAN routing/switching and other network layer protocols
You possess the aptitude to multi-task in fast-paced environment
You are good with writing distributed platform and system software
Deep understanding of Linux and network resource management
You are an excellent C programmer and possess strong analytical and logical solving skills
You have a knowledge of the network protocol stack, including RLC/MAC/PDCP
You have a knowledge of management stack such as SNMP, TR-069, gNMI
Prefer strong skills in Python/Perl scripting
Desired Skills:
Self-motivated, strong sense of ownership, good teammate You should be able to own large portions of the software from a technical perspective
Handle multiple tasks at once and work independently with minimal managerial mentorship. Have experience in customer deployment.
