Yeah we all kinda mentored each other. It was a very good industry to be in back then. I wouldn't give you two cents for any agency job today.

Jim Murray What stands out to me over the four posts is the large number of mentors you had. Certainly times were different then but I also believe there is something in the attitude of the mentee that attracts the mentor in the first place. Great series.

Hey, look at that, there's icing on my cake. I've always found a person's career path from beginning to wherever they are at the moment, quite fascinating, and yours is no certainly no exception. Oftentimes, I get stuck inside my own head and lose sight of where I've been and where I'm going, which never seems to be my choice. Shit just kind of happens and I react. My career path looks like a bowl of spaghetti, sprinkled with Prozac, chicken bones, and cigarette butts, topped off with a scoop of rocky road ice cream. I wash it down with shots of Jameson Irish Whiskey.
