Breaking News! beBee Now Promoting User Posts on Our Social Media Pages

is BER E22
1 producer

I'd like to take this opportunity to thank you to those that have taken the time to wish me well regarding my appointment of Social Marketing Director for beBee USA. I must say that beBee is hands down the most exciting project I have ever had in my career.

I will remain a beBee Ambassador. Just like all of you (the early adopters) are ambassadors as well. I truly believe with beBee committed to listen to both user and employee feedback; we will be able to build a unique social network together. A network that will benefit all of us in many ways both professionally and personally.

With the first two announced employees, Matt Sweetwood (CEO), and myself both being what I would refer to as "serial bloggers" it is safe for all of you to assume that independent writers and user-generated content will remain a huge focus for beBee as we move forward building the platform.

We believe that content producers are a huge part of the value that users get from a platform. There are plenty of places on the internet people can go to get the news. True insights happen on platforms that enable the voice of their users!

I think that Javier Camara Rica and team have done an amazing job with Producer. Yes, there are bugs (many of which have already been fixed), but the site is performing very well. Especially, considering it's in its first generation. Future updates will make Producer the premier blogging platform on the internet.

Many blogging platforms struggle with the distribution of content. That's why I believe the Hive concept with beBee is both unique and highly effective. The ability for the author to share it into three hives and then readers being able to share it into additional hives gives every writer a chance to get visibility and engagement on their posts irrespective of the size of their following.

To get visibility on other blogging platforms I've used, you must either have a huge following or get lucky by an editor featuring you to a wider audience. beBee already does this with every post and the audience is growing every hour of every day.

However, as my first move in my new position, I'd like to take this unique distribution model a step further. beBee will now be using their social media sites to share user-created posts in Producer! Doing so is a win-win for both the writer and beBee. The writer will benefit from additional traffic to their posts generated by the shares. beBee will benefit from new users joining as a result of the great content our users are producing!

While it won't be possible to promote every single post written in Producer, we will do our best to get exposure for as many of our wonderful bees as possible. If a post has a lot of engagement from readers, that tells us that it would also perform well on other networks. So, clearly, you will want to keep that in mind.

What can you do to help? Follow, the sites below and share beBee posts on other networks. Ask your Facebook friends to follow beBee.

Here is a list of the social media sites that your post could end up getting shared on:

Twitter:

@beBeeProducer

@beBeeMarketing

@beBeeBuzzworthy

@beBeeTech

@beBee_sales

@beBeeSocial

@beBeeEngineers

@beBeeCareerTips

Facebook Page

LinkedIn Company Page

As with everything we do at beBee, user feedback is encouraged. I'd love to get your thoughts on this idea and distribution model.

You sure are Charles David Upchurch and the more you promote others along with your own buzzes, it doesn't take long to become an influencer. The people choose. Your a great writer, your audience will pick up fast if you keep writing buzzes.

Great idea John White, MBA!! Followed all of them! We can share each of those Twitter profiles in the correct hive to get more engagement from the bees, gain followers and spread pollination. ;) I have already shared @beBeeSocial Twitter profile in the hive "Social Media Training" and... I have seen you did it already in December last year. GREAT!!! We can do it again anyway! There are many many new bees in town!! 😉

You laid this out nicely John White, MBA. I look forward to producing more articles as ideas keep coming my way. And, I always enjoy promoting others because it heps them to reach a larger audience as you suggested. It also continues to promote beBee's brand. I have one suggestion to those who want to see beBee continue to grow at the speed of light, please repost others articles even if you don't find them interesting, othets may! Differing tastes and this helps with the continued promotion of beBee.com too :))
