It's all about perspective!

It's all about perspective!

Devesh Bhatt wrote the buzz, THE 4 MYTHS ABOUT INNOVATIVE THINKING, and discussed the various perspectives involved with the image of the box. He provided the following illustration.

LID= ASSUMPTIONS

2=KNOWLEDGE

WALL 4= EXPERIENCE
WALL1=PURPOSE

FLOOR=PERSPECTIVEImage credit:  Devesh Bhatt

I couldn't fit my response into the comment box and so I am offering this buzz.

From my perspective, I do not see your discussion Devesh Bhatt as it relates to myths, but I would be consistent in relating your thoughts to perspective. We are optically neurologically, wired to "see" things from different perspectives.

Take your time and try this out.

If you look at the larger box in the illustration below, at times you can see it with one side projected forward (as in the left smaller box) and if you continue to look at it, you can "flip" your perspective and see another side projected forward (as in the right smaller box).

In this way, as it relates to your buzz Devesh Bhatt, you see what you need to see in front of you, such as your floor=perspective, while at other times you may need to focus on the wall=knowledge side.

Thank you for thoughtful response Devesh Bhatt. I think where we differ is in the semantics of the word myth. For me, it's all us. Our perception, our experience, our action, our decision. It's how we "package" it all that makes the difference.
