“So many posts, so little time.”
In the on-going battle of the social media groups, I was reminded of the quote:
"I refuse to join any club that would have me as a member."
Groucho Marx
I would like to return to the topic of not necessarily where I write but why I write.
As I am still a “young” (read new) student of social media, I am not only reading content related to my profession and interests but also content about social media itself; what groups exist, what are the similarities and differences, benefits and deficits, and how, what and when to write.
I have written about why I write on a few occasions (https://www.bebee.com/producer/@sara-jacobovici/bee-yourself - https://www.bebee.com/producer/@sara-jacobovici/imagine - https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/i-try-first-understand-understood-sara-jacobovici?trk=mp-reader-card). When I came across Jeffrey Strickland’s post (which I shared in my different groups), I thought of putting out his answer to why he continues to write on LinkedIn and offer a variation to the theme for readers (and writers) to consider. Jeffrey writes:
"I continue to write on LI for the following reason: at least one person is reading what I write, and it seems to be useful to them."
I am starting a new Hive called “Why I Write” which leads with:
I continue to write for the following reason:
Please share your why as it makes a difference to the where.

Loved the link CityVP Manjit. Watched it again with pleasure. I also remembered the following (doesn't have Rocky's "punch" but a good reminder none the less): 七転び八起き Nanakorobi yaoki Literally: Fall seven times and stand up eight Meaning: When life knocks you down, stand back up; What matters is not the bad that happened, but what one does after.

Agreed that the " “why” and “for whom” are so intertwined," Lada Prkic. I also think that the "who" may be someone who doesn't realize he or she feels or thinks the same way until he or she reads what your write.
