Google Likes BeBee
To understand more about SEO, I searched a few of my beBee posts on Google and Yahoo. I placed the titles of about ten posts in the search bar without adding my name or the name beBee. All posts were picked up by these two search engines and a few appeared on the first search results page, ranking as follows:
Javier beBee: Vamossss! Google Ranked No 1, Yahoo Ranked No 1
Juan Imaz: Be Humble, Learn, Change and Grow Google Ranked No 1, Yahoo Ranked No 1
Why We Like BeBee Stories Google Ranked No 1, Yahoo Ranked No 1
Pull It Sir Prize Google Ranked No 2, Yahoo Ranked No 1
Cheers to Canucks Google Ranked No 3, Yahoo Ranked No 1
These results evidence that beBee posts are tracked very well by Google and Yahoo. It also indicates how unique titles improve search rankings. Other posts of mine, with more general titles, ranked lower in the search results.
But there is an overiding reason why the posts mentioned above, are well ranked on search engines.
It has little to do with me and all to do with beBee’s crawlability.
Crawlawhat?
Crawlability is a search engine's ability to access and analyze a website's content. In basic terms, search engines such as Google or Yahoo consist of a crawler, index and algorithm.
The crawler follows web links and when it finds the beBee site, it reads it and stores the content in the index. The index is akin to a huge book of the web. The crawler goes around the internet all day and continually updates its index book.
Each website is given a crawl budget by a search engine. The budget determines the number of times per day the search engine will crawl a website and update its index.
When someone does an internet search, the search engine flips through the index book, picks all relevant pages and decides what to show first and what the ranking order is, based on an algorithm.
The results above show that BeBee has excellent crawlability. BeBee's site structure and internal link structure is robust, it is free of server errors, the platform is stable, and it has the web authority to receive a high crawl budget.
This all makes beBee highly accessible to Google and Yahoo, and in plain words....
Google likes beBee.

I think I was a bit spoiled by my last website. They listed by topic. My post on the black death received many hits when people searched on the plague.
